Points will be awarded as normal for the order of merit. At 6459 metres from the black tees, the classic links layout is therefore a true test for every level of golfer.

Additionally, any player who shoots a nett 69 or scores 39 points or better receives a cap courtesy of Titleist. Furthermore, prizes are awarded each month for 1st–6th place courtesy of our sponsors Titleist, Footjoy, Wilson, Taylormade Under Armour, St Andrews Brewery, and Drummond Golf Frankston, with the top 32 players in the year’s order of merit advancing to compete on the first Tuesday in December to become the Tombstone Champion for 2026.

Moreover, entry is open to any golfer with an official handicap at a cost of $10.00 plus green fee. In addition, each competitor receives a Tombstone Challenge cap.

Finally, the top 32 players in the order of merit after the November Tombstone play-off will compete in December to determine the 2026 Tombstone Challenge Champion.
